With the concentration of KTS Bilge® adjusted according to the type of soil in the area, follow the following steps:
(CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY ON GLASS OR FIRBERCLASS)
- Calculate the volume of water required to fill the bilge to a depth, which will cover all of the sludge areas to be cleaned.
- Determine the quantity of KTS Bilge® product needed to yield the desired solutions strength.
- Apply KTS Bilge® to the area to be covered, fill with water to the required depth.
- The vessel’s motion will mix the solution and provide the agitation required for cleaning. Allow 24 hours or more agitation time.
- Pump the bilge dry, flush down and repeat if necessary.
